On January 18, 2026, Comrade Chen Shaoyan, General Manager of the company, chaired the 2025 Work Summary Meeting of Hubei Guangchen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in the company’s second-floor conference room. The meeting was attended by the company’s shareholders and management personnel at or above the department head level. During the meeting, heads of various departments gave a comprehensive summary of their respective departments’ achievements in 2025, identified existing problems, and proposed improvement measures. General Manager Comrade Chen Shaoyan then laid out the company’s key tasks for 2026 in detail.

On October 28, 2025, according to an announcement on the official website of the NMPA, the Lixagliptin-Metformin Extended-Release Tablets submitted by Hubei Guangchen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. have been approved for marketing (Approval Number: National Drug Approval No. H20255813), making it the first generic version of this dosage form in China. This approval fills a significant gap in the Chinese market for this extended-release formulation and is expected to provide type 2 diabetes patients with a more convenient medication option.
