The predecessor of Hubei Guangchen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was Hubei Nanxing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which was established in May 2009 and is operated by Hubei Guangchen Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. and Hubei Nanxing Chemical General Factory. In 2015, the company moved to the Bio-industry Park of Gaoxin District, Yichang City, Hubei Province, and changed its name to Hubei Guangchen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The company has a registered capital of 10 million yuan and has built 4 standard workshops, 3 warehouses, integrated office buildings and laboratories, and an independent sewage treatment and power system. The company has built a modern laboratory and equipped with more than 30 sets of various inspection instruments, which provides strong support for product quality control.

The company covers an area of ​​50 mu; the total construction area is 24,860 square meters, and the completed construction area is 12,494 square meters, of which the production area is 6,960 square meters, the warehouse area is 2,280 square meters, and the laboratory is 495 square meters. In July 2016, the company built a 300-ton raw material drug workshop for calcium hydroxybenzenesulfonate. In September, the production line of 5-nitrofurfural diacetate, a pharmaceutical intermediate with an annual output of 400 tons, was successfully completed. On April 25, 2017, the company obtained the GMP certification certificate for calcium hydroxybenzenesulfonate (certificate number: HB20170336).
The company currently has seven main functional departments: Integrated Management Department, Production Technology Department, Quality Management Department, Safety and Environmental Protection Department, Finance Department, Sales Department and Research Institute.
At present, the company has a total of 86 employees. Among them, 20 middle and senior technicians, accounting for 21% of the total number, 12 medical professional and technical personnel; the head of production management and quality management department has been engaged in drug production quality management for many years, with theoretical knowledge and practice of drug production and quality management. Experience, key production positions and inspectors have college education or above.
