Founded in May 2009, the predecessor of Hubei Guangchen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is Hubei Nanxing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which was jointly operated by Hubei Guangchen Trade and Industry Co., Ltd. and Hubei Nanxing General Chemical Plant. Core business scope covers chemical raw materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, food additives and pharmaceutical excipients and other pharmaceutical products. While moving into the Yichang Biological Industrial Park of high-tech zone of Hubei in 2015, the company renamed to Hubei Guangchen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. With a registered capital of 10 million yuan, the company has constructed 4 standard workshops, 3 warehouses, comprehensive office buildings and laboratories, and has also established an independent sewage treatment and power system. A modern laboratory equipped with more than 30 sets of various inspection instruments provides powerful support for product quality control.   

The company covers an area of 50 acres. The total construction area is 24860 square meters with 12494 square meters completed, including 6960 square meters of production area, 2280 square meters of warehouse area and 495 square meters of laboratory area. The greening area of the plant is 5000 square meters. 

In July 2016, the workshop with an annual output of 300 tons of calcium dobesilate monohydrate ingredients was successfully completed, and the pharmaceutical intermediate 5-Nitro-2-furaldehyde diacetate production line with an annual output of 400 tons was also successfully constructed in September 2016. GMP certificate of ingredients for calcium dobesilate monohydrate was obtained in April 2017. (Certificate No. HB20170336). In 2018, the annual output of 60 tons of high sulfur sulfonic acid production line was completed and put into operation. In 2019, ergosterol production line with an annual output of 20 tons and allopurinol production line with an annual output of 300 tons were successfully completed and put into operation. Since then, a new trend of project diversification and product enrichment has been formed by our company in  pharmaceutical field. 

At present seven main functional departments are established. General Management Department, Production Technology Department, Quality Management Department, Safety and Environmental Protection Department, Finance Department, Sales Department, Research and Development Center. 

The company has 86 employees currently. Among them, 20 intermediate and senior technicians account for 21%, and 12 medical professional technicians; Engaged in drug production quality management for many years, division director for production management and quality management has theoretical knowledge and practical experience in drug production and quality management. Key production personnel and inspectors have junior college degree or above.
